Gullet Quarry

This Quarry is located within the Malvern Hills and about an hours walk from my friend's house. The last time this area was used for rock was 1977 and after that it was allowed to fill. I have been told the machinery is buried at the bottom. It may look idyllic but in recent weeks two young men have died here from swimming in the open water which causes cramping which leads to drowning. My thoughts are with their families who have suffered such a loss.
